Full For Five: Henry G’s

It’s new, it’s fresh, it’s filling. It’s the second installment of Full for Five!

This week, we bring you Harry G’s New York Style Deli and Cafe on South Avenue. It’s the best spot for face sized sandwiches, starting at 3.99.

To keep your Lincoln, you can’t get a soda with this one, but unless you’re a NY construction worker, you won’t be able to finish the meal in one sitting.

Not to be overwhelmed by the selections, popular choices include the south wedge, the Clem and the French Dip. I get the cold turkey natural for the hot weather. It’s so big the meat falls out when you bite into it, but I’m not complaining. The only downside is that you’ll be carrying a box out.

The secret to the joint is painfully simple. It’s a fresh kitchen. It makes you wonder why there is any other way than making everything in house.

Go there, skip the bar, and doodle instead. The dry erase tables should be enough fun for now.
