It’s an end of an era, if you can believe it didn’t happen yet. Blockbuster is closing and our iconic Monroe movie store is leaving with it. It’s hard to imagine that our once a year purchases of Scarface tee-shirts, b level video games and magic popcorn didn’t keep that place sustained. But, If there’s anything good coming from this, it’s some open storefront for the Ave. We came across a feed on Reddit.com and picked out our top five suggestions talking about just that.
5.) “A Pool Hall”
Cool, questionalble, another place to spend all of our money… we like it! Just board up those big windows and leave the old movie stars on the wall.
4.) “Taco Bell!!!”
But what if it was a Pizza Hut, Taco Bell & KFC combo?!?… Oh yeah.
3.) “Titty bar”
We’re not going to say no…
2.) “A parking lot”
1.) “A big Redbox with all the movies”
Still wouldn’t go there.
– “lazer tag”
This should just be standard protocol for all empty buildings.
– ”Perhaps a CVS or Walgreens?”
Or another Rite Aid!
We’re going to pretend you were kidding
– “Hollywood Video”
Too soon, bro!
