Green Dream’s latest album ‘Here at Castle Makeout’ is something to sink your teeth into. Green Dream’s latest album ‘Here at Castle Makeout’ is something to sink your teeth into. The space punk trio released the album through Honor Press last August. Green Dreams is a lo-fi noise punk switchblade that kills fascists. The new album is brimming with feral aggression.
It is music to get weird with because it is weird. It is the buzzing in your head after dosing yourself with something speedy and head into the night. Femme Fatale lead Jesse Amesmith throws lyrics around like daggers. Her Guitar playing is an electric shock to the balls. Ana Emily “Monti” Monaco’s bass line personify that that eerie feeling. The one that sends shivers down your spine and has you looking over your shoulder. Trevor Amesmith’s drumming is eye twitching paranoia. Each song is a pulp fiction comic and a protest sign crammed into two minutes of noise.
‘Here at Castle Makeout’ is a giant ‘Fuck You’ to The System. It is all the right anger directed at all the right places. It is twelve songs of sword rattling revolution. A revolution against far right as well as our reptilian overlords. All encased in an alien brain mind-manipulator. You are going to need a tin foil hat to get this album out of your head.
